The Diabetes Education Service
Our Diabetes Educators can assist you with:
- Maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Medication knowledge
- Testing your blood sugar at home
- Preventing complications from diabetes
- Giving insulin injections or starting on insulin
- Staying well
We work closely with our dietitians, so if you ask for diabetes education, we will also discuss an appointment with a dietitian.
In addition, providing Diabetes Education services, we can also connect you with other services. A wide range of health services are provided by BHN. In order to best meet your needs, we ensure a coordinated and multidisciplinary approach.
