About the Diabetes Education Service
An appointment with our diabetes educator can help you with:
- Making healthy lifestyle choices
- Understanding your diabetes medications
- Home blood sugar monitoring
- Screen for risk factors
- Learning to give your diabetes injections
- Staying well!
Our Diabetes Educators work closely with our dietitians, so if you ask for diabetes education we will also talk to you about an appointment with the dietitian as well.
As well as providing the Diabetes Education services above, we can also link you with any other service(s) that you may need. BHN provides a wide range of health services.
As BHN is a leading provider of a full range of health and wellbeing services, we ensure a coordinated and multidisciplinary approach to best meet your needs.
