We offer free and supportive counselling to women who have experienced family violence through our Women’s Family Violence Counselling program. Having extensive experience working in family violence, Women’s Counsellors understand the psychological, emotional and physical impact that can result.
About Women’s Family Violence Counselling
Women aged 18 and over can receive free and confidential counselling for family violence. Strength-based client-centred approaches are used, informed by the following theories:
- Developmental theory
- Attachment theory
- Trauma neurobiology
A variety of women’s groups are available through the family violence program.
Access Women’s Family Violence Counselling
Those who have experienced family violence can get access free and supportive counselling through the Women’s Counselling program.
Counseling for women is free of charge.
