BHN offers counselling services at its offices in Prahran, South Melbourne, St Kilda, Parkdale, Chelsea, Clarinda and Bentleigh. Through a welcoming, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practice, counselling is tailored to each individual’s goals and needs. Co-occurring issues are treated using evidence-based approaches. Those who wish to address the impact these issues are having on their lives can receive phone support and face-to-face counselling from counsellors.
In Prahran, after-hours Centre-based counselling is available fortnightly.
Part-time counsellors are also located at Access Health in St Kilda in a drop-in capacity.
Eligibility
Individuals (16 years +) who live, work, or have a significant connection to Port Phillip, Stonnington, Glen Eira, Kingston, or Bayside.
