Prior to assuming the role of BHN Chairperson in June 2022, Janice was the Board Chair of Central Bayside Community Health Services from November 2018, bringing an extensive background in community, health, education and government.
A Senior Advisor to Office of the Minister for Women and Prevention of Family Violence (2014-16), as a former Member of Parliament (State) Mordialloc Electorate 2002-2010, and as Parliamentary Secretary for Health 2009-2010, Janice’s mission is to lead with vision, values and purpose; to help people and make their lives better. Janice has an extensive history of volunteer work with the homeless, schools, kindergartens, environment groups, health and women’s organisations.
