An experienced administrative lawyer with expertise in corporate governance, audit and risk, Stuart has been appointed to various Tribunals, including the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Mental Health Tribunal and currently is a full time Member of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). Significant experience on not-for-profit Boards includes being on the Boards of Amnesty International Australia, Justice Connect and for 15 years elected onto the Board of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), the professional association for lawyers in Victoria. In 2019 he was President of the LIV. He has also appointed as a Director of the Law Council of Australia. Prior to the amalgamation creating BHN Stuart was a director of Connect Health and Community.
