The aim of the service is to prevent further health complications by improving better access to health care and assisting behaviour change to improve lifestyle choices and health status. This is accomplished by working in an integrated multidisciplinary health care team with a focus on providing coordinated person centred care and using best practice models of self-management approaches.
We offer quality, low-cost dental care, including check-ups, emergency care, fillings, x-rays and dentures. The service is free for children 0-12 years with Health Care, Pension Card or Medicare Child Dental Benefit schedule or there is a small fee if none applies. Youth 13-17 are free with Health Care, Pension Card or Medical Child Dental Benefit Schedule and Adults require a Health Care or Pension Card to access the service.
Our health promotion services create opportunities for communities and populations to understand what influences their health and wellbeing, and the actions we can take together to create healthy equitable and thriving local communities. Hand Therapy is a specialised area of Occupational Therapy that combines knowledge of the structure of the upper limb with function and activity.
Our physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through exercise, physical therapy and education. From improving strength and flexibility to treating injures or chronic pain, we work with people of all ages. Group activities run by our physiotherapist are also available, including Pilates, better balance, strength training and more.
Better Health Network podiatrists assess, diagnose and treat problems relating to the feet and lower legs to help keep people mobile and pain free. The aim of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Program (AOD) is to provide a range of treatment and counselling services to adults affected by drug or alcohol related issues, and their loved ones.

Evidence shows that Tai Chi can also help prevent falls by improving mobility, strength, flexibility, posture and balance.
Strength training can help improve overall fitness, balance, flexibility, coordination and posture. It can also be effective in managing conditions such as anxiety, arthritis, stress and fatigue.
